Seeking some help finding things needed. I'm in Georgia...

Not sure how many on here are in the Georgia area - but figured I'd give it a shot and see if anyone might be able to lend a hand with some things I've been searching for. Largest obstacles to getting these things has been the fact that I'm disabled & don't drive or have transportation, plus the fact I get less than 900/mo to live on with my children. With a mortgage that's over $500/mo (10.84%) that leaves very little to cover the utilities & all other monthly household needs.

I tried for the modification thing - spent over a year jumping through hoops - only to be told that my servicing company doesn't have "permission" to modify my loan, AND that my mortgage holder isn't interested in participating in the Make Homes Affordable program. But if I did get a modification it would be at 2% and $110/mo. just in case you were wondering. In a follow up letter they told me that if I ever need help due to financial hardship, to contact them about getting a modification done. It's like trying to live in the Twilight Zone! It's nuts!

Okay, these are things I've been trying to get & hopefully someone out there might be able to help or know someone else that could help or point me to some place that might help...you get the idea...

1.) I've been looking for a stove with a working oven. Mostly due to the fact my oven died Nov. 2009. Yep, haven't been able to do baking for some time now. Been looking in Craigslist, few other places, but haven't found the right connection yet.

2.) twin or full size bunk bed set, the frame mostly, mattresses not a must, but a sturdy frame with either built in ladder or attachable one. A top rail, bar or partition to prevent "rolling out" of the bed is needed. Even if it's an attachable piece, since my son tends to flop about like a fish when he's sleeping & I'd prefer he'd stay on the bed.

3.) Plastic storage containers. I've lost a bunch of things over the years due to water damage and rodents. So I'm wanting to get plastic storage bins that I can put special items into to keep them safe. This would also make it easier to stack them into the storage unit & label them. Med. to large would be the best choice for my needs. Those Space Saver bags would be great for the winter stuff that takes up so much room, but how do you get them to work when you don't have a vacuum?

4.) A girls bike for daughter who's about 5' 5"(6") who needs some kind of transportation. A basket would be nice.

5.) A small tag-along carrier for transporting a few groceries or such would be great - one that can be attached onto a bike.

6.) Elastic resistance bands, like the kind that they give to those with sports related injuries to help work the muscles. My two became confetti when a friends little furball with teeth came to visit.
Shoulder injury, the cuff...hurts to put arms up for too long.

7.) Need to find a way to deal with arthritis in hips and right knee. It's keeping me from walking. Used to do 5miles/wk min. this problem has kept me housebound. I've gained some wt. since I can't get out to walk. If I collapse, no way to get home. So if there is a way to sorta "MacGyver" this to the point I could walk more again, that would be great. I've also been having my right thigh, just above the knee, go numb if I stand too long. If I don't sit down, it move up my thigh and there is no feeling - it's numb. But there is a painful sensation after a bit. But when I sit down, there is no tingling, so it's not circulatory. I'm guessing it may be nerve related, but have no way to check due to issues with Medicaid & taking 3 months to change my doctor. I've been trying to get transferred to another medical group. So far no luck. As for current PHCP - it's a joke trying to even get an appt. within the same month, let alone the week you reach them.

Well, that's all I can think of at the moment. If I think of anything else I'll make another post. May we all find what we need and what we are searching for...
